Pondering the South African Memesphere – Looking for the Good in Everything header image 2 Books Available

I have a number of copies of available, a book containing a collection of some of the best essays by Gordon Atkins. If you are in South Africa and would like a copy, let me know! It will be only R110. (Previous price did not include import tax. If you placed an order at the previous price, you can get it at that price.) Delivery to Stellenbosch or Cape Town area can be free. We’ll make a plan.

I started with 10. I’m keeping one. My stepfather is reading one, he says he cannot put it down, despite the fact that the odd swear word makes him a little uneasy. 😉 I’ve sold another four (two still need to be delivered). If you’ve bought one and done some reading, drop us a comment and tell us what you think?

If you have not yet come across RealLivePreacher, see the RLP tag, or go check out his blog. His most recent essays are Change Begins with a Dream, The Disillusionment Chronicles (1, 2, 3) and On Toilets and Living With Writers.

    Hmmm. Interesante vent Gordon Atkins.

Can’t decide if I adore or abhor him yet. (remind you of anyone else I have recently discussed?)

I love his stories: his quest for authenticity.

I’m a bit weary of his treatment of scripture and universalistic stance (note I say a bit weary). He makes pondersome remarks though – expressing theories and ideas I would like to constructively criticise…Next week.

T’was a golden week in the blogosphere. Anger. Tension. Resolve. Debate. Beauty. Thanks to all the lovely bloggers who shared of themselves.

I’m striking a blank right now. Abhor is a strong word. But hey, I’m a huge RLP fan. Do you really mean weary, or do you mean wary?

You should probably be much more wary about my stance, but that you surely know already. It’s no secret, I think way too much. 😛

I still have books, but I seem to have brought them with me to Europe. (I’ll hopefully dig through my boxes tonight or tomorrow to confirm.) My next opportunity to fly a couple back to SA with family might be in July, though *maybe* I can send a package with a colleague in Feb. How does that sound?
