I thought it might be healthy to take a break from the usual subject matter on my blog. I could try to declare a hiatus and stay away for a while, but I’m not good at that. I have a bunch of posts lined up in my head, with a vague “dependency hierarchy”, and a sense of “urgency” to get to some of the later posts. As such, I’m going to pause those plans by blogging about more mundane personal things instead.
So, first things first (or not really first things, but anyway): a job search! I have some ideas what I want to do, contract work has given me some more clarity on what I want to do and what I don’t want to do. While I do have some job offers, I don’t want to rush into something too quickly. Except, one problem: I want to do a trip to the USA shortly after Easter. For obtaining a visa, I need to prove I’m coming back. How does one do that? I’m thinking I should have a job lined up… very, very soon. Bother.
Pausing the religion stream means that the posts connected to particular events and/or days will be quite late. Pity, but I’m not a news blog anyway, so whatever. I have sufficient notes ensuring I won’t forget the important stuff. All of that can wait a little, can’t it?
